Thinking of You- SYS2

Here is my day 2 project from Stretch Your Stamps 2 by Online Card Classes. It was great to see Jennifer McGuire’s use of Perfect Pearls. I’ve had some Perfect Pearls for a while, but haven’t used them much  I think this is a great way to use them– the shine on this floral card is beautiful.

Stamps: floral background stamp, Hero Arts; tiny specks, Stampin’ Up!; sentiment, Simon Says Stamp

Hello- Stretch Your Stamps 2 Online Card Class

When I started this blog, I named it ‘One More Thing’ because the voice in my head kept saying “really, one more thing?” Now that it’s been more than four months since my last post, you know where that voice was coming from. My life is full.

I’ve been spending more time crafting and less time soaking up the summer sun the last week or so. I’m taking Online Card Class’s Stretch Your Stamps 2. It’s day 6, but I’ve only made it through day 2. At this pace, I’ll be able to enjoy the class for a couple months.

The first two days had great techniques to try and I’m very happy with the results. I combined Kristina Werner’s design with Shari Carroll’s watercolor technique, and added a little embellishment, for the ‘Hello’ card above.
