Future of Flight pages

Image

There hasn’t been much time for crafting this past month, and even less for blogging. I’ve been blessed to have plenty of work and have put on lots of miles driving kids to bowling and dance. We’ve also spent a couple relaxing weekends at the cabin. But now, I’m really looking forward to a little time in the craft room.

The last time I did have a block of time for scrap booking, I finished a couple more pages about our Seattle trip. My favorite of them is above. I used Bazzill Basics card stock and not much else– a single sticker from Simple Stories 24/7, LilyBee Design letter stickers, and my Silhouette.

Scrapbooking our 2012 vacation

As we prepared to leave for our 2013 summer vacation to Manitoba and Ontario, I felt compelled to finally get the photos from our 2012 vacation to Seattle in a scrapbook. I managed to complete a couple of pages before we left and have been working on the book since we returned four weeks ago (in occasional 30 minute work sessions, of course).

It’s coming along pretty nicely, I think. I’m about a third finished. I’m using photo sleeves by We R Memory Keepers and October Afternoon’s Boarding Pass and Simple Stories Urban Traveler papers and embellishments, and my Silhouette Cameo. Here are a couple of the pages I’ve completed so far.

Clearly I need to spend a little time figuring out the best ways to photograph my pages. These are not very good. I’ll work on that– when I’m not scrapbooking.
