I am pleased to have put together a couple scrapbook pages this weekend. First, my son finished his first bowling season and I was eager to document it.
I used Echo Park’s All About a Boy line, with a little bit of the Doodlebug Take Note paper. I also used Bazzill card stock and my Silhouette Cameo to cut the ball and pins.
Also, since we’re celebrating my daughter’s 14th birthsay, I thought I should get her 13th birthday photos in an album. I added photos to the pages I created in Bella Blvd’s Lovin’ Life Layoutsmworkshop at scrapfest using their Engaged at Last and Love and Marriage lines. I also created a second page with a We Are Memory Keepers pocket page.
As we prepared to leave for our 2013 summer vacation to Manitoba and Ontario, I felt compelled to finally get the photos from our 2012 vacation to Seattle in a scrapbook. I managed to complete a couple of pages before we left and have been working on the book since we returned four weeks ago (in occasional 30 minute work sessions, of course).
It’s coming along pretty nicely, I think. I’m about a third finished. I’m using photo sleeves by We R Memory Keepers and October Afternoon’s Boarding Pass and Simple Stories Urban Traveler papers and embellishments, and my Silhouette Cameo. Here are a couple of the pages I’ve completed so far.
Clearly I need to spend a little time figuring out the best ways to photograph my pages. These are not very good. I’ll work on that– when I’m not scrapbooking.
